AND THEN THERE WERE THREE!

So good to add our brother John McKenzie to our Climb (Kilimanjaro) to End Poverty team.  John is the Housing & Shelter Global Partners of the Jubilee Village Project.  He has joined our Climb Kili team to help raise money for the Village Vehicle.  John and his wife, Jill, and their two girls, Megan and Molly, will be visiting Kager in July 2013 to work in the village and to hold a marriage conference for the husbands and wives of Kager village.

 We are praying for a couple of more men that might join us for this awesome adventure!

At our Climb Team meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 26 at Shannon's house (see pic above), we adopted Psalm 121 as our Song of Ascents:

I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
    where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
    the Maker of heaven and earth.

He will not let your foot slip—
    he who watches over you will not slumber;
indeed, he who watches over Israel
    will neither slumber nor sleep.
The Lord watches over you—
    the Lord is your shade at your right hand;
the sun will not harm you by day,
    nor the moon by night.
The Lord will keep you from all harm
    he will watch over your life;
the Lord will watch over your coming and going
    both now and forevermore.

Can't wait to recite this together on September 20 when we stand at the Rooftop of Africa together!
